FS: A Lange and Söhne 1815 UP and DOWN

have a burning desire to wear a dress chronograph instead of my Lange RG 1815 UP & Down #221.032. I bought it from the original owner who bought it NIB from Traditional Jewelers, California. It's a 100% complete set and other than a small mark on the back on one of the lugs when I put a new black alligator strap on.The original brown alligator strap (90%) is included.

In an ideal world I would be able to trade my Lange for a VC 47101. I'm no longer a collector, I'm a wearer and this would make a great way for me to renew my love for Vacheron. Needless to say your VC must be somewhat similar to mine: Condition, original and complete. Color, both hetal nd dial are of little or no consequence with PT a premium. My understanding is that this model Lange is the most desirable especially for the bucks, $20k.- $25k.US +/- Unfortunately I have issues posting scans. If interested please email me direct - mpjulian2 at att dot net for a couple of my wife's iPhone scans and whatever questions that you may have. Thank you for your "time". Miki

Same as the classic 1815 with an addition of a Power Reserve indicator. The "1815" series is dedicated to Mr. Adolph Lange (founder of the company) & the year he was born. This watch features: Silver colored solid silver dial with painted Arabic Numeral hour markers. Small Seconds sub-dial with blued hands, located at the bottom right of the dial. Power Reserve (up Down) sub-dial located at the bottom left of the dial. The movement has 27 jewels & beats at 21,600 vph. The movement has an approximate power reserve of 45 hours.

I have known Miki since the old Hour Louunge days. He is a true gent and collector (well, now he is a "wearer" by his own admission). Miki is highly trustworthy and a good sourc for your next Lange.;-)

Miki, I hope you get the 47101 you want. What a fabulous chronograph that is!

Cheers,

respo

Thank you :-)
