IWC has to be one of my favorite brands, hopefully we get a forum here sooner rather than later! Here are some pieces of the past:

I had this one twice, once on a strap and once on the bracelet.

I've had the 5001-07 twice now, this ones days are numbered because of what I just got today

This is my newest edition, I'll have to take better pictures of it tomorrow.

My dream IWC would be this!

 

He owned the set of 3..SS, Rose Gold, and Platinum.

There were the ref 5000, not the one with the Date at  " 6 ", which is referenced 5001, if I'm not wrong.

 

Did you see the Platinum 5000? A very sexy and elegant watch, the same than your dream watch but with a Plexy Glass and without date at 6... A Marvel! Best. Nicolas

You could buy the set, I mean the 3 Port, with the same LE number, and if I remember well, there were only 100 sets available...

They came with this box.

The nicest IWC i've owned is the limited edition of 25 pieces 42mm Cellini Portuguese Perpetual in stainless steel which is the 1st Portuguese Perpetual of the 42 & 44mm versions and the only version currently available in stainless steel.

The IWC I own now is the IWC Aquatimer Split Minutes

And the watch I wouldn't mind having would be the IWC Portuguese Minute Repeater w/ the below dial.  And btw, I don't like the dials of the newer versions.  The original one below looks much more classy and elegant IMO.

I didn't know the Cellini Version of the Perpetual!

Love the dial, and this blend of white, black a,d these small touches of Blue on the hands!

Ref. 3701 was one of the watches produced during the 10-year collaboration between IWC and Porsche Design.  At one time I had more than a dozen of the historical Porsche Design watches and a handful of other IWCs, including a titanium Aquatimer that I thought was great, but this is the only IWC left in my stable from that phase of collecting:

I totally forgot a very nice IWC...The Ocean 2000, and more precisely the Bund model, with a special case ( as all the Ocena 2000) , but a lovely patined dial!

I've had mostly GST watches, and there are a couple I can't find pictures of - they are long gone.
That includes a mecha-quartz GST in ti, a alarm GST in ti, and a regular chrono GST, in ti (boring, eh?)
Plus these three newer GSTs (and the fourth - a doppel in stainless shown below)
And I have had a couple Mark 11 & 12; one with a white dial - I forget it's number

The two "big boys" but I just couldn't deal with the flash of the doppel

Most recent purchase - the Top Gun chrono
( I just remembered, I had a Spitfire dual time zone too; forget it's exact name)

Longest time owned - the PD IWC Mecha-quartz moonphase chrono

I just loved this dial with the gold accents

Bought this one for my wife so she's IWC certified too

As for the ones I dream about - these below will do while I am learning to pronounce Il destriero scafusi

Impressive collection, my friend.

I'm not very kken on the BP Perpetual, as I don't get the mix between a Pilot Watch and a Perpetual, but the others are wowowow, including these skeletons!

Here are two watches that I own. The big Pilot's watch in platinum and the Big Pilot's Perpetual Calendar 'Bucherer' Watch which is limited to just 30 pieces. A Big Pilot's perpetual Calendar Chronograph someday perhaps? One never knows with IWC

Portuguese Perpetual Calendar - not many Perpetual’s show the correct moonphase for those living in the Southern hemisphere.

 

I suppose I could also ‘make do’ with a Skeleton Repeater!

This White dial is original, for a Pilot Watch, since Rolex and its 6542 made it, not a lot of brands followed this combo.

Hi Nicolas,

The bracelet and quick release deployant make the Mark XV very comfortable to wear.

I didn't know any of the Rolex 6542 history so it was interesting to go searching. The nicest thing to me about white or cream dials is the way blue hands are highlighted. The white dialed Mark XV has a lovely blued second hand which is my favourite aspect of the watch.

The 6542 hite Dial was used by the non  pilot Pan Am Employees, while ther Black Dial was the watch of the Pilots .

I think I don't know any other Pilot Watch with a white dial than your IWC, my friend.

...on my 'keeper'.

• It is a solid rose gold caliber 89.
• Ribbon lugs. From what I was told ribbon lugs were in very limited production as most were tear-drop style.
• Year of production was 1957 and it is in original condition, however I did have the crown replaced recently.
• 51 years gives this dial a patina that is even more beautiful in person
• New shoes: Hirsch burgundy crocodile.

I'll bring it with me to the Boston PuristS GTG on November 7th.

Now that I own the Jubilee Portugieser, I guess the watch that I would dream of owning is the original Portuguese Ref 325. I also like the Squelette Repeater very much.

LOLOLO.....luckily i am not around foe 2 weeks.My site was disappear after some problem with my area network,i was unable to hook up the net therefore i miss lots of fun you guys were having at that time...
