If a watch makes you happy, its great. I have watches that people don't appreciate, but hey, I don't ask them to own them or wear them. We have discussed the SD43 before....you know my views on how I perceive it myself. But I am open to see how others may truly love it. One of my best friends...anda collector of vintage Rolex for years, just bought one. I get it.....but its not for me.
I can see though that it is one you love....and that is all that matters. Enjoy it....post it as many times as you can. Share your love!!

... which does not mean in any case share the same passion for the same watch!!!

Collectors may consider the SD4000 to be the last of the "old" sea dweller, serving as the transitional model to the "new" model with the current. With the short duration of production, it may become the coveted one. Who knows how long Rolex will produce this one? It might be for a while, similar to the LV green sub.

... I'm sure that SD4000 will never make richer an owner in the forthcoming 20 years... @ least imho

Can I ask with the extension link left in is it not as good a fit ?

and btw in any case the extension link you should consider is probably 1.5x longer (if not more) vs a standard oyster link
I found the watch a better wear without, but for instance on a Submariner LV I didn't remove it, you should also consider that the new SD is bigger so I do appreciate more having the bracelet more "flexible"

After seeing your pics and the series of discussion, I'm one of those who thinks Rolex got this right. I have never had any issues on both the size and the cyclops of the new SD. Instead of the BLNR which I've been waiting for many months, I'll probably get this one.

Only an advice, before pulling the trigger try to wear both watches to make the right decision, even if I'm alredy sure that id you'll decide to go dor the new seadweller you won't disappoint at all...

As I wanted to see it in the metal. I did not mind the size but as the photo shows it is a little big on my wrist. But in real life, it did not look big as I walked around the boutique. I do like it but am waiting for the new Sky Dweller, black or blue dial. Then I'll make my decision to buy one or the other or another model altogether. Yours, BTW, looks fantastic, Luca! ALoha, Bob
