Bravo, excellent post. I too remember my first Rolex an Airking too.
I gave money that I saved up when I was still in school. Gave it to my mother and told her to buy me a Submariner. Just add to the money I gave her. When she traveling in the States with a brother. She found a Sub but thought it expensive for 1 in school yet. And so not to disappoint me she bought an Airking. 1983 model ref 5500.

It already has many nicknames such the bloodhound, the weird looking rolex etc.
