A friend bought one back then and i was impressed by the look and feel of it in person

And being a complicated watch fan and Daytona fan it was a must have.
Then add in the fact that this was the 50th Anniversary model and the want no need grew even more within me.
I was then very lucky with a local AD who had it for 12 months and could not sell it so I made him a silly offer which he accepted 🙈🙈.
I think the Chestnut brown colour with the Ice blue dial is brave and genius. Certainly isn’t the same watch without those brown sub-dials.
My go to summer watch. And what else is nice is it sticks out as a rare watch among all the young Nautilus wearers at the beach club 😜😜😜😜😜😎😎😎
Feels perfect on my wrist.

I too could not get past the brown, black and I would have owned one awhile back. I passed on this watch at $50K about 5 years ago, woops! The WG with dark blue is spectacular.
