It´s so interesting to observe how this model has been changing with some subtle changes in his external cosmetics, through the years. Specially the design of its bezel, wich is similar in spirit, but with differences from reference to reference.

I wonder if some of our Purists fellow members, got a 6202 in his collection! May be it can be shown in this post!

I woudn´t care about size with this one... but yet, that´s a very personal view!  I´m sure you found a good home for it, after enjoying in your collection!

It was a tough decision

After spending so much time getting the watch. I found on my wrist it was a little small so I tried the bund strap to give it some volume. Alas no change.

I did the same with a perfect 6536/1 white second hand magnificent dial like no other radium dial. I let it go also. Same issue with size.

Did I mention the 5508 came and went.

... but it seems that definitively 36 mm is a small size for your personal taste, and personal taste has much to do with the enjoyment of a timepiece.

It may be a very sought after piece, or a marvellous jewell loved by others, but if you personally don´t find the enjoyment, and the love for it, you won´t get the satisfaction that collecting is all about. I can understand that very well.

Serpico y Laino also used to customize TOG dials in some pieces, mainly in gold.

Both FAP version or the S&L variants are the joy and pride of any collector, be it a Rolex collector, or a specialist in TOG variants.

Those you show are wonderful examples. I specially appreciate the rare examples showing the name of a famous watch dealer on its dial.
