Seriously, the talent of Rolex is to have created such legends as the Sub, the GMT, the Explorer and the... Daytona.
Among them, the GMT, and the Explorer, too, has a big merit: You can build an interesting collection without having to see the house.
It is a bit less true with the Subs and the Daytos.

Everything is relative....
......you are talking to a guy who already has 2 GMTs.....so what you are really saying is will i dive deeper? And deeper....and deeper?
I think the thing is....c'est le truce....Subs and SDs are my equivalent to your GMTs and Explorers. I get most excited around the former and that is what gives me the biggest buzz around Rolex. That does not mean that i dont have strong attraction to GMT and Explorers....but just not at the same (insane) level. 2014 for me will most likely see me add to GMT.... but it is in a queue....behind 2 others.

I think the GMT is an absolute icon. Not just for Rolex, but for the watch industrie. The two tone bezel insert, the 24h hand. For me it is the watch that got me hooked on Rolex. The quality, the simplicity, the classy and timeless look. How good is a design that lasts for decades...?? It is a great watch

This post plus Baron's on the "bruiser" is making me seriously consider a Bruiser Rolex!
Also, i normally don't fancy yellow gold watches but somehow the GMT Master II black dial in yellow gold case and bracelet (on the Pilot Ad picture) looks great too!
