Hearty congrats!  This is a gorgeous watch!  I love the color combo -- it's so sporty, and coupled with my favorite Journe design, the CS, well...I'm floored!  Beautiful!  I hope you enjoy the new watch for years to come!

I'm really glad you liked it , I ordered 2 new straps for it yesterday, a midnight blue croco with red stitching and a tan strap with red stitching, hopefully my AD can confirm my order in the coming days as they've never ordered such straps before. What do you think of those colors?

...but I'm having a harder time picturing what tan with red is going to look like when married with the case/dial.  I'm sure it will be fine!  No worries!

On the example you show above, I think it works against the expanse of gray on the dial.  For your Tricolore CS, I'm not as convinced.  I think the bright white begs for a more contrasting strap, and the midnight blue will work well in that regard, while also mirroring the blued hands and tying in with the red elements via the stitching. 

What do I know?    Follow your joy, my friend.  If the tan calls to you, do it!  I will enjoy it, as long as you do!

...after all you've got the WATCH to marvel at now!  That's what's important!  Isn't it fun to get a new piece?   I get so giddy over new acquisitions that I almost want to sleep with them next to me, so I can look at the new watch as my eyes start closing and I fall into dreamland.  LOL!

That's why this hobby is more like an addiction!

Their strap is not difficult to make at all and I got excellent results from my strap maker.   Here's one mid-night blue strap on my zodique...

I love the contrast and it looks really elegant

Congrats my friend!   I actually didn't even notice the red tip of the minute hand until your wonderful picturials...   Did FPJ do any other time piece for SFT with this colour theme?

Glad you enjoyed it , my understanding is that they did the following watch aswell for SFT and the CS Tricolore and this watch were sold as a set, there was also an FPJ wall clock offered as part of the set but I haven't seen a pic of it yet unless someone here knows how it looks like:
