If so, are you pleased with it so far? I understand you can hear the beat noise from a built in speaker. Can you describe what it sounds like? A heatrbeat? A beep? Just curious. Thanks!
I suggest you get the best you can afford. As I no longer had access to a 'proper' one, whilst I would love a Witschi Chronoscope, I can't justify it. However, as I continue to regulate some of my own lower end pieces and to help with that and keep an eye on amplitude, diagnose hairspring and other problems, to inform conversations with watchmakers doing work and to minimise service interventions in general until really necessary, I was curious too and did buy a perfunctory Weishi 1900. I believ
This first time around I'm going for something pretty basic and low-end. Once I get my feet wet, I might step up to something higher quality, although I suspect a basic unit may satisfy my simple needs. Thanks again for your input!
