I have been tempted by this strap in the past.  It reminds me of the old ROC Racer, for those of you who remember what that is ;-)

About the Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch Ref. 311.30.42.30.01.005

The Speedmaster Professional represents Omega's most storied contribution to horological history, tracing its lineage to the original 1957 racing chronograph that evolved into NASA's official timepiece for human spaceflight missions. This particular reference maintains the essential DNA of the watch that accompanied every crewed lunar mission, preserving the manual-wind tradition that has defined the Professional line for over six decades. The Moonwatch designation carries genuine provenance, not marketing hyperbole—this is the same fundamental design that functioned as a backup navigation tool during Apollo missions.

The 42mm steel case houses Omega's hand-wound chronograph movement, deliberately eschewing modern automatic winding to maintain operational continuity with its space-qualified predecessors. The black dial features the classic tri-compax layout with running seconds at 9 o'clock, 30-minute totalizer at 3 o'clock, and 12-hour register at 6 o'clock. The aluminum tachymeter bezel serves both functional and aesthetic purposes, providing speed calculations while maintaining the lightweight profile that contributed to NASA's original selection criteria. The hesalite crystal, rather than sapphire, preserves another authentic specification from the space program era.

In today's market, the Speedmaster Professional occupies a unique position as both accessible luxury and blue-chip collectible. While vintage references from the 1960s command substantial premiums, contemporary Professional models offer genuine space heritage at entry-level luxury pricing. The reference maintains strong secondary market stability, supported by continuous production and consistent design language that appeals to both casual enthusiasts and serious collectors seeking authentic space race provenance.

Not sure the black.strap isn't the best choice for this white dial, though...

Quite nice. I wonder if this strap comes in a tang/buckle version. I’m still honeymooning with the bracelet :-)
