Some time ago I already shared my (first) impressions and pictures with you.

In case you missed it: patek.watchprosite.com /

To attend the first presentation of this piece of art was great, but sometimes you ask for more.
The object of art is something to dream about, but even dreams need some food … from time to time.

The closest we (attendees of the presentation) came was like this:

(No video, just a screen shot)

Yes, that´s me while shooting for you. A dear watch journalist gave me the hint, that there is something to observe at “her site” smile
Thanks my dear!

Never expected to see that watch again (at least not after such a short time smile ) and so I started to work out some
more details out of the official press pictures on my computer. Just for the pleasure of looking at it, I spent some
additional time with Photoshop.

Here they are:

Even better is when you get the offer to see it again and to handle it. Nothing beats the real live experience,
especially when we talk about wrist watches. Yes, it still is a wristwatch and one that is (believe it or not)
a pleasure on the wrist.

It feels solid, but not too heavy.

Even the tiniest details are excellent (executed) to say the least.

The blue dial with its different shades is very tempting and impressive …

… but when you turn it around it doesn´t get worse - not at all. For some it is (almost) mind blowing, isn’t it?

Hard to believe that somebody is not mesmerized (at least) by the back. Lots of romance for some and maybe
(let´s call it) science for others, depending which kind of guy you are.

Once more the dial and of course the obligate wrist shot.

With all those complications shown outside, we should not forget at least one major complication inside - the
Minute Repeater
. I can tell you, I was very pleased with what I heard. Maybe not a big surprise when we talk
about a Patek Philippe Minute Repeater, but still good to know that they delivered again.

After some time of admiring I finally had to part, even when they had been very patient with me smile

It was already time to eat something (in the old part of Geneva) and to rethink the experience while enjoying a good glass of wine.

Afterwards I walked back to my hotel.

The very nice deep blue sky above Geneva didn´t help to forget the outstanding experience, but was a good
preparation for nice dreams … smile

Oliver, Thanks for the photos and observations. The quality of the decorative arts is at the forefront for this model. I wonder if this is the next cycle of trends in haute horlogerie? A few of the top brands have been showcasing (sic) the case work and dial work recently with rare arts of engraving, enamel, gem-setting viz. Patek Philipe, Piaget, Chopard, Cartier. Of course, it has always been like that in history: the best watch movements were found in the best decorated cases viz. Berthoud, A
