Small-luxury-world prepares readers for Baselworld 2013 by reminiscing about previous years' Patek Philippe novelties, offering a visual journey through models from 2010 to 2012. His post generates anticipation for new releases, particularly speculating on a potential platinum Nautilus Ref. 5711, and invites community discussion on upcoming Patek Philippe watches.

Only a few more days and we will (finally) see the novelties from Patek Philippe 2013.

As a warm-up I checked on my computer which kind of pictures I took in Basel, the years before.
Not all of the pictures show novelties, but who cares as long as they are beautiful. Am I right?

Basel 2010

Basel 2011

Basel 2012

For the first time I had the pleasure to go inside and to take pictures of some of the novelties.

PP released quite a few new models:

The Ref. 5940J was probably my favorite novelty in 2012 .

Gentleman, are you ready for Basel 2013?

One of the "rumors" is a Ref. 5711 with platinum case. There was at least one platinum Nautilus before (Ref. 3700P),
but this one was a rare beauty.

Once I was told by an AD that one of his clients got one in platinum, but I can´t remember which version/Ref..

If there is a new platinum version, what will it look like?
Will it come with the same blue dial as the regular version in steel? Will it come with a grey dial? ...?

How will it feel on the wrist? Very heavy? Very solid?

Will it be limited?

Lot´s of questiones and no answers, but as I mentioned above - only a few more days smile

Oliver

About the Patek Philippe Nautilus Ref. 5711

The Patek Philippe reference 5711/1A-011, part of the Complications collection, is distinguished by its white dial, offering a different aesthetic compared to other dial variations within the 5711 series. This particular configuration provides a clean and legible presentation, appealing to collectors who prefer a more understated yet refined look. It represents a specific iteration of a well-known Patek Philippe model, recognized for its integrated design.

The watch features a 40mm stainless steel case, housing the self-winding Caliber 26-330 SC movement. This movement provides a power reserve of 45 hours. The case is fitted with a sapphire crystal, contributing to its water resistance of 120 meters. The fixed bezel and integrated bracelet are characteristic elements of its construction.

This reference appeals to collectors interested in the evolution of Patek Philippe's offerings, particularly those seeking specific dial colors within established model lines. Its production run from 2019 to 2021 marks it as a relatively recent, yet now discontinued, variant. The watch's specifications align with Patek Philippe's standards for mechanical timepieces.

of the Nautilus collection is very appealing and to me it sings loud as well. Mark, still have some time to rest before I go to Basel - next week. But before the rest (weekend) there is something like a day job ... :-( Cheers, Oliver
