In this captivating post, cbb shares an exclusive look into the Tokyo Watch Art Grand Exhibition, highlighting the breathtaking Japanese-themed timepieces and the opportunity to interact with Patek Philippe's master artisans. The author's unique perspective offers a glimpse into the camaraderie among collectors, culminating in a 'mystery wrist shot' that sparked significant community engagement and discussion about rare Patek Philippe references.
The Tokyo Watch Art Grand Exhibition was just breathtaking…well planned and executed. The Japanese pieces on display were much more amazing than the pictures I saw, with new movements like changing date backward on GMT on the World Time piece, and the 5208P 😛😛😛 plus the antique pieces on display. I always have great fun and learning new things each time I meet Patek’s masters of arts like Anita Porcher, Marquetry and Guillochet masters. The only missing piece was a sit down meeting place with drinks. Guess we were spoiled from the Singapore one back in 2019.
Met up with various collectors I have known from over the years, and the first order of business was a wrist shot !
There is a special person in attendance. Who is he and what is he wearing ?
