Juju-Swiss shares the exciting journey of picking up his Patek Philippe Nautilus 3700 from the Geneva Salon after a three-month wait. This post captures the essence of acquiring a highly coveted vintage timepiece, offering a glimpse into the emotional connection collectors have with their watches and the meticulous care Patek Philippe provides for its heritage pieces.
I have to say that I had a lovely weekend. Since a couple of nights I was not sleeping correctly, thinking of picking up my Nautilus after three long months.
However, as we all know “patience is a virtue”.
The D Day finally came, and I drove to Geneva excited like never before.
I wanted to share with you these couple of photos. I hope you will enjoy them and feel free to comment.
It was a real pleasure wearing it over the weekend. It just feels great. It is a fantastic watch, so elegant and discreet !
I wish you all a great week ahead
Warm Regards,
Juju-Swiss

The Patek Philippe reference 3700 is recognized as the original Nautilus model. It established the distinctive porthole-inspired case design and integrated bracelet that define the collection. This reference was produced for a significant period, laying the foundation for subsequent Nautilus iterations and solidifying its place in the brand's sports watch offerings.
This reference features a stainless steel case measuring 42 mm in diameter and 7.6 mm in thickness, fitted with a sapphire crystal. It houses the self-winding Caliber 28-20 C, which provides a power reserve of 45 hours. The watch is water-resistant to 120 meters and typically presents with a blue dial, offering a date complication.
The 3700 appeals to collectors interested in the foundational pieces of significant watch lines. It represents the initial vision for the Nautilus, preceding later mid-size and complicated versions. Its production run from 1976 to 1990 saw various dial and bracelet configurations, making specific examples of interest to those studying the model's evolution.
Your 3700 is a dream watch, especially with box & Certificate of Origin. And now the watch looks like new. Congrats! Best, Kari, still looking for my 3700

I remember your previous post about your missing Patek logo on the buckle. Can you tell us what Geneva finally did to your watch and share some of your experience? It looks fantastic now and Patek shows again that they take good care of the older watches they get for servicing. Great Nautilus and thanks for sharing the result. Cheers, Mark
