That watch is classified in my mind as “mindblowingly elegant and beautiful and rather unobtanium”. An AD used this piece as ransom to me. He said “we have the moonphase nautilus in our safe now. You can buy it sure, but we only sell it to customers who spend US$80k and up.” This is a true story I told Holdenchamp. He then said he can get me the green nautilus in 2 years, if I spend that amount today. I found it very fishy even for an authorized Patek AD.

Definitely not good to hear this from an AD...and if he had the 5726 in the safe AS MUCH AS he'll get a green 5711 allocation in two years from now, I'm glad you walked away from that AD without spending any money! ;-)
