Emmanuel, known as quattro on WatchProSite, delves into the often-overlooked Patek Philippe Ref. 2461, a vintage piece that challenges modern aesthetic sensibilities. His exploration of this platinum reference, powered by the esteemed Caliber 9-90, provides a valuable perspective on how historical designs, initially perceived as 'quirky' or 'outdated,' can reveal hidden charm and horological significance through fresh eyes and alternative styling. This article examines Emmanuel's initial impressions and the community's varied reactions to this distinctive Patek Philippe.

Is a definite yes for me but the diamond indices are not my style ππ€·π»ββοΈ The YG with the normal indices is much more to my liking ππ»
And cal. 9-90 always a joy to see. The yellow version also a looker.
Especially when the diamonds are set in such a visible way (some settings are a little more discreet).
I think I prefer the other two, but I definitely like the shape of the case and I find these βforgottenβ references more interesting than one would think. And yes, cal. 9-90 is really nice. Best, Emmanuel
but yeah, I like the second one a little better π
Especially with the non-gloomy dial of the second example. Best, Emmanuel
