The Patek Philippe Complications reference 5130, introduced in 2006, is a World Time watch that succeeded the popular reference 5110. This model maintained the distinctive World Time complication, allowing for simultaneous display of time in 24 different time zones. Its design evolved with a slightly larger case and updated dial aesthetics, distinguishing it from its predecessor while retaining the core functionality that defines Patek Philippe's travel timepieces. It was produced until 2017.
The watch features an 18k rose gold case measuring 39.5mm in diameter and 9.8mm in thickness, housing the self-winding Caliber 240 HU movement. This ultra-thin movement, visible through a sapphire crystal case back, provides a power reserve of 48 hours. The dial is silver or opaline with a guillochรฉ center, protected by a sapphire crystal. But as an exercise, I tried to rank them in my mind, so here's my very difficult (and very subjective, and perhaps not even definitive!) ranking: 1) 5131P and 5131R (I only have the P, so actually the R for me might even be a tad above -- it's easier to like things that we don't have! 3) 5131G; 4) 5575G; 5) 5130G Shanghai (didn't remember you had this one as well! Notice how crazy it is that a 5575 ends up off the podium, or that a 25-piece 5130 LE takes the last cake...but I guess that's what h
Map layout wise, I like the 5131R Uniqueness wise, I like the 5575 Versatility wise, I like the 5131P This is a very hard decision

5131G is relevant to me because Iโm from Africa but live in the Middle East now and both in the map and Dubai instead of Riyad used Iqbal
