Haven't done one of these for ages.....modern, vintage, explorer 1 or explorer 2..... whatever you have...let me have it!

Modern (ish) ... the 16550 Panna. Produced for only a short period and with its quirk (faulty) dial paint!

Vintage....first generation 1655....the "Straight-Hand"

VERY vintage... the 6610 (see review http://rolex.watchprosite.com/show-forumpost/fi-732/pi-5984638/ti-877788/s-0/)

Modern...the 14270 "Blackout"

All so different and all so versatile......starting with these for the Explorer Roll-Call

Neither my Explorer (II) . . .

. . . nor my wrist . . . . . . but here's an image taken by yours truly five years ago. This one belonged to a former co-worker; if memory serves correctly, he was in the process of selling it at the time. You know, for someone who claims not to be a Rolex guy, I have an awful lot of pics in my files ;-) . . .

You know, the funny thing is . . .

. . . I found one last summer that would've made the cut, a '57 VeriFlat . . . [image from online auction site] . . . located not far from Maggie's. As it turned out, though, my watch funds for the year were already allocated to the incoming GS, so I couldn't make the move. Circumstances, circumstances . . .

Suspiciously so....

.....a Rolex-lurker! A secret voyeur.

Not exactly, Joe; more like . . .

. . . an ex-addict. Remember, my first watch was an Air-King - I've drunk the KoolAid!
