Jack Johnson's recent acquisition of the Zenith Pilot 5011k sparks a lively discussion, particularly around its unique winding mechanism. His initial impressions highlight the watch's surprising wearability despite its size, a testament to its titanium construction. This thread offers valuable insights for prospective owners, addressing common questions about the caliber's operation and overall ownership experience.

Just took delivery yesterday - and absolutely loving this thing! To my surprize, I am finding the watch wearable as far as wrist comfort is concerned - it sits snug on the wrist and Titanium case makes it quite light fornthe size. Of course, there is this lugs overhang, but as a whole the watch does not look cartoonishly big when seen on my big body smile A question to MTR (your nice posts were the last straw making me to pull the trigger smile) and other owners - is it normal for this caliber that the winding is pretty stiff and requires a lot of force to turn the crown?
