F.P. Journe Octa

For sale here is my F.P. Journe Reserve de Marche. It has a 38mm platinum case with two very desirable traits - an original series brass movement and an original series yellow gold dial. Comes with box and papers and everything else. This is a really great watch in excellent condition. For those that may be concerned that 38mm is too small for them, please note that the watch wears larger than its size. Also, 38mm was the only size available for the early FP Journe watches and the only size available if you want the yellow gold dial. So if you’re interested in one of these great early pieces, it has to be 38mm. As a bit of background, the Reserve de Marche is the first automatic watch that Montres Journe released. When it was released, it was described by the company as the world’s “1st automatic winding wristwatch with a 120-hour power reserve, off the wrist”. Also, this yellow gold dial was the signature color that was on the company’s early promotional material. Asking $27,800. Plenty of references available. Cheers, Grosbard
