Hump Day Wednesday 🐪

No matter how many FPJs you own, somehow there’s always “that other reference” quietly living rent-free in your head. 😎 The dangerous part with Journe isn’t buying the first one… it’s realizing each model scratches a completely different itch. Curious whi

This is true Jay. Any Resonance is the one to have.

I absolutely adore mine. It is the most satisfying and treasured watch in my collection. I considered trading it for the Ruthinium but that ship has sailed too far by now. I can’t help thinking though, that if one would be the owner of an R, one would in

Not an easy answer these days.

Because I don’t have it with me for long enough to make any proper assessment. I think the last time I monitored it was in 2020 (COVID) where I did so with several watches. I just looked for the file I kept at the time and cannot find it, but I don’t reca

LOL love the headline 😂

I used to be able to wear any watch pretty much anywhere I would go. Watches was simply not a hobby in most people’s eyes and an expensive watch was a Rolex. I agree that the light heartedness was so much more charming. You and I have been fortunate with

One for Sunday; 2002 never looked as good !

F.P. Journe Chronmetre a Resonance, 38mm, Platinum. I really think these watches look best with the slimmer bezels one sees on the 38mm cases. In the modern line up there is also some small variation in bezel thickness. I’ve mentioned this before but for

Hmm, I don’t know if that is how I feel exactly….

I’m still getting a lot of daily pleasure from wearing my watches but since watch collecting became known to everyone and prices hiked it is less light hearted. I’m still wearing a Journe 5/7 days. I think some of your headline could have to do with conte

Happy FPJ Friday.

Looks like a great time with an amazing watch. I had an opportunity to join a truly special lunch.

Wow, congrats on this.

I’ve been a convert since I first put this same ALU CTS on my wrist more than a decade ago. It’s a watch which is hard to understand fully (more so the design) until it’s on the wrist. Ultimately I chose its sibling that was born a few years later. For me

Thank you, Emanuel. I hear you 👍

Generally speaking, I also much prefer the classic F.P. Journe pieces on straps versus bracelet models. However, the moment I saw this watch in person and put it on my wrist, it was instantly “all smiles” — and ever since, I hoped to eventually find one.
