For sale: My Jaeger LeCoultre Emmanuel Coindre Extreme World Chronograph.
This watch was produced in a limited series of 20 pieces only, to celebrate Emmanuel Coindre's record breaking solo row from Japan to San Francisco. Only three were imported into the US, and were sole through Shreve & Co in San Francisco, which is where I purchased this one.
The watch differs from the standard EWC in the following ways:
1) Yellow, rather than red is used for dial highlights and chronograph hands. (MUCH nicer looking in my opinion, and also easier to read).
2) The world cities dial includes San Francisco and Choshi, Japan - in place of Los Angeles and Tokyo - and these are marked in yellow.
3) The back is engraved with a map showing Emmanuel Coindre's route.
The watch is in Very Good condition, showing light wear from occasional wearing. The original strap shows some wear, and there is some cracking of the yellow paint on the edges due to age, but is still in good condition. Also included is the original rubber strap in mint condition, and a custom-made Greg Steven's strap in CF with yellow stitching (my favorite).
Watch includes original box, papers, tags, etc.
The watch is located in the Bay Area, California. I'd prefer an in person sale if possible.
