I am selling my JLC Reverso Grand Sport Chronograph in SS with SS bracelet. The watch is in excellent condition with some light surface scratches. All links for the bracelet are included, and so are boxes and papers.
Why is this watch special? The movement used in this watch, cal. 859 is not only a column-wheel controlled chronograph, it is also a SHAPED movement specifically designed for the Reverso case. By comparison, the movement in Reverso Squadra chrono is converted from the chrono movement first used in Master Compressor Chrono. Another unique feature is the retrograde minute counter, which jumps back to zero instantaniously after reaching the 30 minute mark.
The bracelet is also a work of art. Not only is it very comfortable and gives the watch some extra heft, the clasp is constructed with over 50 parts and has quick micro-adjustment without using tools.
This watch had a retail price of over $10,000 before it was discountinued about a year ago. I am asking $4,100 shipped in US. I will also consider trade for a Reverso Grande Date. Many references available.
