Patek Philippe Calatrava 5091

The Sculpture series, originally produced for the purpose of re-entering the Russian market, and production was limited to 300 pieces each model, totalling only 2,700 watches. The project was somehow called off due to political reasons, consequently these watches were consigned exclusively to a handful of Patek Philippe trusted distributors for Patek Philippe collectors. Hence they are rare and are difficult to come by.

The automatic versions of Sculpture (there are also quartz versions for ladies) is fitted with Patek Philippe's automatic movement Caliber 315/190, stamped with the Geneva Quality Hallmark, rhodium-plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 21 K gold rotor. There are black and white dial models, each is limited to 300 pieces, and the one I am offering for sale is in black dial (the most sought after model) with tritium-coated Arabic numerals, aperture for the date. Tritium-coated steel "Baton" hands. Screwed-down case back. 

Most distinctive of the sculpture, besides its unique design, is its winding crown which has a protective bridge and the crown is made of deep-blue cloisonné enemel, in a style recalling the elaborately decorated and intensely coloured roof-top of the Russian Krelim palace. Diameter of the watch is 38mm, thickness 10mm. Patek Philippe link bracelet with deployant clasp.

Watch has not been worn except that I took it out for some photograph shooting, hence it is in a NIB condition.
