Patek Philippe Calatrava 3588

Up for grabs is a Vintage Patek Philippe model 3588 from 1972. The watch is cased in an ultra-thin yellow gold case with a thin bezel making the watch look bigger then its 35mm diameter.

What is more interesting is the calibre used in the watch, it is a 28-255 self-winding movement. The same JLC 920 movement used respectively by 3 great brands: AP, Patek and VC in the most desirable Royal Oak Jumbo, Nautillus and Overseas respectively. Wonderful movement. Watch comes with sold yellow gold case back (non see-through).

This is a real ultra-thin watch, thiner then most so called "ultra-thin" watches that are not even self-winding. From the photo you can see the watch measures about 6mm thin, putting most manual winding "Ultra-thin" watches to shame.

The watch was authenticated and service by Patek Philippe in Singapore in July 2010, a new yellow gold watch buckle was bought along with the dark brown gator strap.  It will come with the original Extract from the Archives from Patek Philippe. It was a safe queen 99% of the past 7 years. Clean, minimalist design that is timeless. You'll not find another one in this minty condition. Watch and myself are located in Singapore.
