Description

Hi Guys,

I'm selling my rare Rolex Explorer One Ref 14270 "Blackout". The watch is completely original, serviced by Rolex last year and still under warranty. The watch is unpolished and i have declined any external replacements parts upon servicing (seen in service docs below).  This watch was only made for a very short period of time during the earliest phases of Ref 14270 production (~1991-1992).  It is considered the rarest sapphire Rolex and they do not often come up for sale.

The watch sits on the original oyster bracelet and will come with the following:

-Rolex Exp One "Blackout" Head
-Rolex Oyster Bracelet
-Original Exp Booklet
-Rolex Service Papers dated Nov 11, 2009 (still under warranty!)
-Rolex Service Documentation outlining what was done, and more importantly, what wasn't done
-Credit Card receipt from service
-Rolex polishing cloth

I do love this watch and consider it truly the next "Double Red" Sea Dweller - the only reason I am selling it is to fund a  "grail" purchase.

Looking for $6200 or best offer. Most other examples are priced well above and mine is an exemplary piece, with a recent service (still under warranty till Nov 11th!) Let me know if you have any questions at all!

Thanks!

Got me the new Tudor Ranger.
Obtain the new Tudor Ranger, a watch of superior quality. Opting for the 39mm over the 36mm for a comfortable fit with a micro-adjust clasp. Enjoyed by Gerard.
