Here’s my “U” serial from 1997. I love the Explorer II.

V series (2009), this is one of the last batch of ref 16570 before discontinued in 2010 and replaced by the new, 42mm "maxi case". It is considered quite rare, having new caliber 3186 with parachrom hairspring. The endlinks also solid, makes the watch fee

worn daily and only recently stoped working, service cost was $1700. The owner is member of our community told me a story about his Explorer , he went with it to the room with MIR machine, the watch got tosted, it started running 1 hour slow just in a cou

beach. The Explorer is a wonderful watch for this venue. It can do it all. No polished bracelet which is perfect. Hope all are well. For those on the east coast I hope the bad weather is over and you are warm and well. 🙏🏻
