It may be in part due to the lovely blue/grey dial colour which is one of my favourite colours for a dial as well as the way everything is so clean and legible and I really like the big date. I know what i have said may be considered blasphemy by some but...
first or second is fine. I was really excited about the first Lumen (the Zeitwerk) but the novelty worn off after the second release for me. This Dato Lumen is the forth Lumen I believe.
I like the Lumen series - but I think the Zeitwerk was the peak of the species and that Lange perhaps ought to have stuck with that. I much prefer the argenté dials - and, by tradition, black dials on their chronographs. First generation vs. second genera...
