Because of the size and weight.
The Dato and PLM are heavyweights so they have to form the base. Plus, it has a special meaning for me.

Lovely pictures, and all three of those Lange are great. As much as I love the 1815 line, If I had to pick one it’d be a toss-up between the Dato and PLM...
