Alternative?
There are some great "his n' hers" watches within the Lange stable. A classic is the Langematik Date in pt. 37mm but wears bigger. Amazing clean and understated look. Phenomenal movement and finishing. Or look at the Saxonia range. Or a Cabaret. All these lines allow sharing with neither partner having to feel like a second class citizen.

I'm lucky in that my lady does not wear watches as she does not like anything dangling from her wrist. But the Lange looks sharp on your wife I must say and definitely sized right!
