During my research I dug up your original thread from 2009 and read it with great interest: www.watchprosite.com / It's quite entertaining to read some of the "predictions" made on that thread and compare them to the current situation!

There is a reason nobody else has been able to make something “truly” comparable after 11 years. It’s also a bargain for such a complex and unique piece. Huge congrats!

Not only they perfected the digit jump which used to be the main challenge, they introduced so many complications (date, striker, MR etc.) with it that they are the undisputed king in this category! And no other brand is even trying to compete in this cat... 

May I ask how did you post this photo? Big congratulations...it also took me many, many years to "jump" on a ZW.

Always love hearing the story behind an acquisition, thank you for sharing. You must be anxiously awaiting its arrival. Do post lots of wrist shots when it finally arrives!

What is so appealing to me is that on the dial side it doesn’t look like a complicated watch, but on the back it is a different story! Great pic of the movement!! 👍

Yes, it'll have the movement without the preload (attached a not-so-clear pic below). I'm curious too about the regular production Gen 2 ZW. I read in an article that even though ZWHGL has the same case dimensions (41.9 mm dia, 12.6 mm thick), there are s...

This is the Lange which fascinates me the most. A milestone in watch making. And for sure an unique piece! Even if the costs may „hurt“ you, I find - in these days - this is an occasion where you really get something for your money. It should arrive next ... 

It was supposed to come yesterday, but there was a bit of delay at the border, so will take delivery next Friday. Fingers crossed! 🤞

The watch cleared customs yesterday and is in Canada now and is scheduled to arrive on the Christmas eve!!!! 😊

I just want to lie down on a sofa and just stare at it! It's quite surprising, given that the dial is so simple!! There is something very "magnetic" about it!!
