...on a gorgeous watch! I had been wondering recently why all posts of 1815's seem to be of the 40mm version when this is the current model in the ALS catalogue, so it's nice to see you redress the balance.
Like fernando I think this size suits ithe watch best. I have hopes of being able to acquire one at some point.

1815 has landed
After a one-year quest for my first Lange, I decided to go for the 1815 WG 38,5mm. Today it has finally landed (with the new folding clasp). Just breathtakingly beautiful... The new folding clasp is very comfortable, by the way. Some pics:...

about the clasp thanks for sharing it ! I am a huge fan of the 1815 and love how simple yet elaborated and stunning it is. One of my favourite watches ever.
The folding clasp
was introduced at last year\'s SIHH. It costs quite a heavy mark-up, but I much prefer it over the normal clasp. I also tried the old folding clasp, but it was very uncomfortable on my 17cm wrist. The new one is great.

I find 38.5mm the ideal size for the 1815 and it goes very well with the new clasp. cheers fernando

My first Lange was also an 1815, and I completely agree with you that it can dress up, or dress down to smart casual. Just outstanding.
