Actually I cannot agree that 1815 chronograph in gold is heavy. Did you try platinum?

I had owned the 1815 chrono in gold and it was heavy for me. Just like gold Rolex watches with gold bracelets are way too heavy for me. However a platinum Patek is lighter than a gold Lange! Just the difference in the way both brands make their watches. B... 

Today is the first day I wear it. It is comfortable with a pleasant presence on wrist. Your comment is very appreciated and I will pay attention to the weight aspect. "Heavy is reliable"

And I am sure you will be tempted to wear the watch back to front if at all possible!!

Actually the chronograph is even lighter than the Jumbo. But Jumbo's case weight is balanced with the weight of a bracelet. So Jumbo feels overall lighter. Maybe buying a clasp for 1815 may increase its comfort. Best, Alex. ...

I prefer watches without a date so a simple chronograph is a best choice. Datograph is thicker and more expensive. I mentioned the plate under the balance wheel that is visible As for cotes de Geneve - I completely agree, my mistake)

take advantage of your 1815

I'm surprised, as the plate under my RL balance is decorated. I will have to look a little closer at my other Langes to see if this is the exception.

I have often wondered if I made the right choice getting the standard 1815 instead of the chronograph... maybe I need to upgrade it Anyway; enjoy your stunning watch!

I consider them to be 2 different watches. 1815 is great as an every day watch. Much better than Calatrava or VC or almost any other brand. 1815 Chronograph is the watch to look at with a loupe

IMO the best chronograph at any price. You can spend twice as much and still not get half the quality as your 1815. Actually prefer it to the Datograph. Sacrilege to some, but don't need the date and the 1815 is so much more wearable with its reduced thic... 

Great to know we share similar opinions. I am not sure whether RG version is discontinued so I shall research it. It was not difficult to find the watch at all as a manager from AD called me himself and proposed it I love the fact that a lot of parts are ...
