PS: you like heavy weights . That is a very, very desirable box with many grails...I would dream to own that 5270P, 5236P or this Lange 1 PC, just one will do.

I've seen this one along side the salmon dial version and prefer this one!

But at the end of the day I decided it might compete too much with my 5270. Thanks for the kind words.

You don't want those two battling one another, you want them each in their own place. And the warmth of rose gold brown dial is a really really good place for that spectacular L1 to be!

The PC display on the dial is done brilliantly, and I do love the fact it‘s an instantaneous PC. This adds so much to the spectacle! I join the others in congratulating you for assembling an outstanding collection. No clunkers in this garage… Best, Daniel... 

I second everything you just said about the PC.

I often compare the L1 PC with my Patek 5236: They both have the same functionality but could not be more different. While the Lange has an amazing display, the Patek probably has it beat on the back side with that lovely platinum micro-rotor: Cheers. ...  

This Lange has it all. A beautiful movement, a superb dial and technically an outstanding watch. Congrats to such a watch!

Due to life’s randomness, I have a couple of Patek (1 for me, 1 for my wife) coming in next week…

Love this piece - much more appealing to me than the limited WG salmon dial piece. May I ask, is the instantaneous calendar working always exactly at midnight? In all the videos I’ve seen it does appear exact. I ask because I was amazed to find Patek have... 

Yes, the calendar, in my experience, changes exactly at midnight. The salmon dial is absolutely stunning as well and I hesitated quite a bit but I have a Patek 5270P with a salmon dial and I try to keep internal competition within the collection to a mini... 

A worthy addition to your already brilliant collection. If I may add a few things on the accuracy: Unfortunately the precise change is not always the case. It highly depends on the adjustment made by watchmaker, and the age of the watch as I experienced. ...
