This watch in this older version is just great and represents for me probably the best in the chronograph field. Of course, there is also the Dato, but I got a problem with the big date from the 1st to the 9th...
I do prefer your version compared to the last one ; yours is more charming and has more character, imho of course !
and to be honest I like what I see (so far :-) ), even when I had to wait sooooooo long and had to pay a (small) fortune. Any regrets? No, not at all :-) But have a look by your self: Maybe some of you can still remember how the watch looked like before. ...
... i'm attracted more and more to this chrono. The blue hands, the pure dial, chrono without date,... and what a movement!! Enjoy it Thanks for the pics
We've seen this chrono a lot but it remains an icone from the rebirth era. You've shared many impressive pictures Oliver, thanks a lot and happy you could spend time with it again. I'm sometime asking myself which Lange I should choose if only one: the ch...
thanks a lot for your kind reply. Regarding the one and only ALS: Sometimes I think it is one of mine, sometimes I think it could be a RL ... :-) Best, Oliver
about the details and process of the service. How much did it cost? Also, how long did you wait? I too am looking to get my 1815 Chrono serviced very soon. If you don't want to specify on the public forum, then you can always PM me! Thanks, Enrique
I sent my Grosse Langematik for a complete overhaul 17 weeks ago and I was told I have to wait another four. So, in total, it will take them a bit more than 5 month. Their initial estimation was 12 to 14 weeks but, apparenly, they've been overwhelmed by a...
very busy at the moment and mine was about 5 month, as well. Regarding PP, once I waited more than 12 month for a simple watch ... As long as they do a perfect job it is ok for me, we just have to practice patience ... OMMMM ... :-) Cheers, Oliver
FX had already started torturing me recently as he gave me the chance to try his 1815 chrono (upon my request I must admit!). And the idea to get one one day started to grow in me. And now you come with these somptuous pictures of the same great watch, I ...
I am not surprised that you can admire the beauty of that watch. So far you "pained" me more than I did and to be honest I love it :-) Keep your pictures/posts coming! Best, Oliver

And I'm not only talking about Lange... they really have brought your 1815 Chrono back to a brand new state! But, I'm also talking about the drool-causing photos! What stunning beauty it is under your lens! Great job Oliver! Enjoy a new honeymoon! :)
Looks good as new. Lange service is world class and quite frankly, given the complexity to service a watch like this, I am guessing the price was actually quite reasonable. Congrats on having it back!
Hi Stephen, Tranks a lot for brillant photos and a very good story. As I just bought a ten years old Lange 1 which has to be sent to ALS for a service your experiences make me happy. I am looking forward to a like- new watch. Best regards Stefan By the wa...
When i was about 12yrs old, I frequently volunteered to get milk from the newsagent...it was an errand I always liked to do. The reason? Well, at 12yrs old, viewing the top shelves of the newsagent represented an excellent use of time. I would create any ...
