I really enjoyed reading your thoughtful and reflective comments. Like you, “the pervasive beauty of the watch immediately captivated me.” Yes, its “heft” is appreciable compared to other similarly-sized gold watches - that’s very Lange.
I also own this piece in pink gold (but on the burgundy OEM strap) and - among a proud and fortunate collection of Langes, including several that are more complex - it is absolutely the last one I would part with.

I did have a look at the crown size vs the Lange 1 but didn’t notice a major difference(though I didn’t spend scrutinise it), will take a closer look!
