A watch that needs a bit of reflection. It is special in itself with the enamel dial , the metal, etc _ but you only realize how special if you know the normal 1815. Different decoration of the movement, no seconds sub-dial, different application of the numbers on the dial, the ratchet wheels (for the winding mechanism) are visible with pretty good finishing of the teeth, etc. etc.

A special piece with a unique precious metal and a dial unbroken by subseconds.
Very pure yet still interesting. The movement is lovely, filled with engraving, but I do wonder if I'd prefer the Glashutte stripes. Probably not on this one, but I do love them. Cheers, John
