It is interesting to read that you do not like the guillloche on the Lange 1. I actually am not too keen on guilloched dials including the ones on Voutilainen watches which almost everyone love (I put this down to bad taste on my part! 
) and would usually prefer simple dials with a vintage patina. However, I actually like the guillloched dial on the little Lange 1 possibly because guilloched dials are rare on Lange watches whereas they are more common on Breguet and Voutilainen watches. So perhaps, I am prioritising rarity of dial rather over quality of finishing. Such weird tastes

I agree a single barrel is quite normal for an ultra thin watch but Lange should have settled for a 45 hour power reserve like on the saxonia 35mm. Having a 72 hour power reserve means way too much winding every 3 days.

The problem I have with the guilloche on the Lange 1 isn't that it is feminine (I don't think it is), its that I don't like it. It seems too 'aggressive' and unvaried.
