A. Lange & Söhne

I went into the Lange boutique about a year ago here in NYC..........

To try on the Saxonia thin 37mm version and while I was trying it on the salesperson brought out the Saxonia moonphase too which was new at the time as well. Having them side by side totally ruined the Saxonia thin for me as it was too hard to ignore how stunningly gorgeous the moonphase was next to it. Even at 40mm (38 or 39mm would have been perfect for me) the watch looks fantastic. The only thing that holds me back from buying it is overlap within my Lange collection but to my eye Lange hit a homerun with this model. The fact that its automatic certainly wouldn't hold me back from buying this watch.

With all of that being said, I do agree with Alkiro. If you don't own a Lange 1 which is really their signature piece, the Lange 1 moonphase is probably the way to go for a moonphase complication within the brand. Otherwise you can't really go wrong with a Saxonia moonphase. Best of luck!
