Yes, the blue is hard to capture but I'm glad I had the opportunity to see it in person. Better than I expected. The 1815 Chrono and the Up/Down are fantastic in RG...the 1815 Up/Down in RG is spectacular, I can see why it would be tough to part with. I think the Dato in white metal is my preference but the 1815 Chrono in RG may be my preference...strange...lol. As far as the Zeitwerk goes, the RG Black dial is my preference. They didn't have it available this time but I tried it last year. I lpove the RG and black dial combination! Yeah, lol, my Odysseus hung out with his cousins for a while...Thanks for the feedback!

Stopped by the ALS boutique today in NYC. Had the opportunity to try on various pieces. I was really impressed with the WG blue dial datograph. It's much more appealing and beautiful in person than in pictures. ...

To be honest the ZW date, the WG Dato, the RG 1815 Chrono, and 1815 up/down were all incredible in their own right

The chronographs are incredibly appealing, but a Zeitwerk is nearly a type onto itself. I'd like to know how many of those giant display double splits were made. When the displays are changed out, will they go to a museum or will a lucky collector get to ...

I too really liked the WG Datograph in the metal - more than I thought I would. For some reason, it gave me an 1815 Chrono vibe... My iPhone camera couldn't resolve the dial as blue (it showed up as black...) so you did well by comparison. Oh, I see my RG...
