I was never a fan of the Grand but was taken back by this one as well. The dial is not argente it is more on the white side. The dealer had mentioned that it was No 2 of 5 that were made for an Italian dealer. I am not sure of the real story so anyone with more information please post. The blue steel hands and blue raised Romans really make the watch. I love my RG Dato and L1 MP but the Grand is really different. I walked into Wempe in London on Bond street and they had never seen an example of this model.

The L1 MP and the Dato are RG. Grand Lange is white gold with a white face, blue steel hands and blue raised Roman numerals. The dealer had told me it was very rare and the back of the case is stamped No2. I have a Dato perpetual in my scope, just waiting...

fan of the Grand Lange-1 but your sample is stunning!!!!! I really am impressed with its appearance. Is the dial Argenté (silver) or is it (painted) white? Can the AD give you/us more information on this apparantly special Lange. Great collection ... back...
