It is not about the movement but the Cartier to me is a lot more elegant as the case is thinner and the reversing mechanism is more complex. The winding crown of the Cartier though which is positioned at 12 o'clock is not the best but generally the dial of every Tank Basculante is more elegant that the Reverso. Also the Reverso has grown in size, both in thickness and dimension, over the years - the original Reverso to me is the classic Reverso and the one to get. Also the Tank Basculante is a lot rarer a watch and that counts (for me anyway!)
