One pattern of design I'm not sure I ever fully understood is the practice of keeping a fraction of a numeral applied even when a subdial covers 80+% of it........ I'd rather not have anything there.... Thank you for the excellent images! Much enjoyment, ... 

I would have preferred that diamond pattern larger perhaps instead of numbers at 3,6,9? Or maybe just a dot? I guess there is some precedence in old pocket watches. But because they did that before doesn't mean they can't be creative 😅

Yes, PP invented the annual calendar and has beautiful examples in the catalog. But your watch has manual winding with the simple setting + better finishing ... Years ago I had an 1815 moon phase and it was a huge pain to set correctly. You are absolutely... 

The finishing at the price a little nicer IMO and the layout and manual wind for me works. I am planning to order a strap. Was going to order a camille fournet strap this week (good quality, plus lazy I can do online customizer from cell phone)😅 I just do... 

They will send the strap to their US representative, then do domestic shipping. The only thing is that the whole process takes a bit of time ...

I definitely don't plan to move on from it (maybe if a lange 1 perpetual platinum comes along 😅). Trying to find pieces I have strong interest in, but is hard where I live I've gotten most sight unseen!

A great piece. I ended up with a PP annual calendar as it’s more casual, but there’s still a twinge of regret I didn’t go for this one.

PP invented the segment and if seeking automatic they have that covered nicely 👍

Hopefully I will join the Lange club very soon as well I have spent a lot of time comparing PP AC’s and while they are nice, the Lange just has them beat in my view. More beautiful and details MP disc, ease of setting. Movement finishing. The lot. Wear it...
