Does anyone know? I see various answers on old posts. Seems to have varied by time period?

I thought Jean Rousseau was the supplier but my 2 Langes are from 2023...so no I am curious as to who made their straps 3 years prior to mine if it was a different supplier.

The first strap I had them make for a Lange watch for me was in 2015 or so and at that time, in the US at least, they were making custom order straps for Lange. Last time I had them make straps for a Lange (to Lange specs; taper, padding) was 2020 and I u... 

I just had a custom strap made for my L1 MP. I chose the strap at the NY boutique and all the options presented to me were Jean Rousseau. I ordered it late 2023 and received it early 2024. It came out of the NY Jean Rousseau shop. My Lange is from March 2...  

I believe Camille Fournet is Lange's most recent bulk strap manufacturer. In the distant past, Lange used Kaufmann and also Perrin. I thought Jean Rousseau only makes custom straps for Lange, not Lange's stock straps.

My dislike has nothing to do with Camille Fournet or the quality of the strap. I just don't like the change to (1) the padding profile and (2) the finish. The rectangular padding profile really bothers me -- how the padding steeply drops off on the sides,...

Could be...I am not sure. I know my custom was JR. My stock strap is pictured above.
