A. Lange & Söhne

A few weeks ago, a friend bought his first Lange. He spent a lot of time choosing it, finding it and finally made an interesting move: he purchased the Grand Langematik with black dial and pink gold case (the reference 309.031). I would like to come back ...

It is funny that you posted these two wristshots because I gathered the two watches: Fx...  

This was also my first option for a Lange 6 years ago. I am still happy with that decision. I still love the watch a wear it regularly. Sorry for the bad picture! Thank you for the review!...

Yours looks very different to the PG/Black dial version. Each one has its own charm. Fx

That this is still not available. The Saxonia family could really do with a date, to this day I am still very puzzled why they discontinued this style. They told me it was because it wasn't selling very well, but In my experience it is a model they are so... 

That's what these people are in business for: Meet a clients demand at a profit.

I made the mistake of exclaiming this when I was in the factory. "You are a business" I said "Making a comfortable living for yourselves and your loved ones is your main goal, is it not?" Their response was one I should have foreseen, of course making mon... 

I like this piece,I like it for the particular indexes,fir its size,movement and the colour combo. To tell you the truth if it will ever cross my path it will be very hard to resist,like the "Dufour"dato anyway.Watches full of character. MO

Nor you or your friend should take this as an offence, please. I do not like this Lange. It is a gooseberry: spiky, sour, barbwire ... this all comes into my mind when I see this particular GL. However in RG and black it looks like the best possible combo... 

You know, it is impossible to find a watch with a 100% consensus... But in my case, I was totally seduced by its special charm. Fx

a mood that can espress a greatness, as a being a noble Lange. But still, the spiky look is not something that I feel overly calming to look at. It has got presence. Regards Moritz
