The Lange is also a true form movement, which is a rare thing as you will know. The 5109 was certainly a very strong contender in the line up and I must say they resemble (in terms of the mood) each other quite, your Cabaret and the 5109. The Cabaret, wit... 

That is exactly why I went with the Lange. It was more watch for the money but I do like the 5109 very much as well. Tony

I do think the Reverso outshines most any Gondolo made, but that is not what your post is about. The Cabaret is a watch that Lange should think about reintroducing, even if in very limited numbers. Beautiful. and extremely well-proportioned.

If Lange did re-introduce the Cabaret at some point down the road but in limited numbers. It's a nice way to keep the collection diverse. Tony

This watch would be absolutely stunning in platinum with a silver dial and the moonphase. Similar to the platinum Lange one moonphase but rectangular. I think we have our next boutique addition! Tony

The watch was bought pre-owned but it was just recently serviced so it felt like buying a brand new watch, even the strap was brand new. The Cabaret moonphase was discontinued back in 2008 so I would be pretty suprised if you could find one of these NOS. ... 

at the GRUT Duoface Bleu........am wondering should I? It has been discontinued and there are a few NOS left before it is gone. Mesmerize by the Bleu and thought it would be nice to have one in my collection other than all the round ones. I know you have ... 

Was just to big and clunky on my small wrist. I think it works best if you have a bigger wrist. (Mine is 6.5 inches) the Grande Date I believe i got in a trade and just never really liked the aesthetics of the watch to begin with. Not sure why I even trad... 

Have you thought about the white gold Cabaret with the blue dial as an option? Tony

Been observing the Cabaret from afar for a while and as you say, there is comparatively little written about it, so your review is very helpful When I get to the rectangular shape it will definitely be a strong contender...

Such a beautiful watch. Why did Lange discontinue the Caberet series?

I really like the watch and am very glad I aquired one. My best guess as to why the line was discontinued was because the Cabaret didn't sell as well as some of Lange's other lines but that is just my assumption. Tony
