Good morning all, I have an opportunity to get an Rose gold ALS Datograph from my dealer. I seek your advice on this piece. I do have 3 other ALS but this is THE piece I have been waiting for. It will cost me some of my current collection which hurts. So ...  

It sounds as if it\'s worth it to trade and get the Dato, especially if it\'s the one you really want Out of curiosity though, what would be going from the collection?

I have not decide what to trade for the Dato. All the ALS are staying at home. Cheers J

My only suggestion regarding the dato is make sure you give it good wrist time on the try on period. I love the watch but it is not comfortable for all wrist types. Looking forward to seeing pics.

I have tried it before and I do have a smaller wrist. I shall go back to the AD for another test drive. I plan to get a black strap as I have 3 brown ones and need a change. Cheers J

I wouldn't do it. The Zeitwerk movement is quite impressive, so for me it's not a trade up, more like a sideways trade for me. And I def won't trade that plus a RL for a Dato.

Absolutely don't do it! It will be a great deal for the seller only.

I will have to trim so other sections of my collection for this purchase. Man it\'s a tough call. Cheers J

No the ALS are all staying. Some other will have to migrate. It\'s a tough tough choice. I just love their finishing and story. Cheers J

What would you be giving up to get it? And would it be worth it to you? I love the Dato and think if your not willing to trade any of your current ALS pieces in towards it, then you have a huge appreciation for the brand overall. The Dato is a staple piec... 

I think I will have to release my AP, JLC and maybe one more. This is a big ticket item that I have to justify to my wife. Cheers J
