Audemars Piguet

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver in white ceramic - hands-on

The Royal Oak Offshore Diver is not new in general as it was already presented in 2010, but in a "simple" steel version.

The new white ceramic version I had no chance to see at SIHH in Geneva, but afterwards. Lucky me, the light was just perfect when I saw and handled it. Just perfect for taking lots of pictures which I wanted to share with you, now.

As we know it from AP, there is lots of attention to the details. All in white, but quite different materials and structures. Nice, very nice!

The blue details are just the cherry on the cake and remind me to a nice holiday in Creek & Turkey, some years ago.

The back is no surprise as well and most of you will be familiar with the AP movement. Still I think you don“t mind to see it again smile

On the wrist it fits perfect on mine and the buckle does a great job - solid & comfortable.

Most important is (probably for most of you) how does it look on the wrist. Well, have a look and judge by your own.

Different light/angles brings out different details.

Sometimes white watches tend to look "female", but looking at the bold crown guards I would say not in this case.

Conclusion:

It is a very nice watch, but not for me. It is not my favorite diver from AP and not my favorite white ceramic AP. But this is just a matter of taste and not of quality shown. If someone is looking for a very cool and solid diver in white - here we go!

In addition I would like to show you the diver and white ceramic I would prefer instead, but once more it is just me and my taste.

But as mentioned before, judge by your own smile
