Wow!
When
working hard – I guess you kind of "expecting" being rewarded in some way. WHAT
to be rewarded with would be highly individual to each of us, but as we are
here discussing in a watch forum – I think a watch is very appropriate 
This is a
superb piece. I have personally been looking at the standard AP Diver numerous
times, and even I find it a desirable watch - it IS a little too dark for my
preference. I mean black dial...black rubber and so...yes. But of course, a nice watch too finally.
I think if the std. Diver would exist in a gray dial (or possible white dial) config, that would be the watch I would pick at the moment - even over the Chrono. But it doesn’t.
This watch combine interesting materials with a special look. A fantastic combination IMO.

I have no personal interest in horse racing too (apart from the BIG WIN, haha), but this watch is all about its look, materials and being a true AP. Wow...you’re a lucky man I have to say!
I am sure
this watch will give you a lot of long time satisfaction. Do I envy you...YES!

The weight is very substantial as you know. I do not have a huge wrist but it is rather flat and holds this monster OK.
An attractive watch, no doubt.
The only issue I do not fully understand is the RG bezel. I have noticed with RO that the bezel is a real scratch magnet and gold is a very soft material. But it looks good. Best and happy Thanksgiving, Kari

"Stunning" is a solid description. As some have pointed out, gold won't make for the most durable bezel, but it offers a unique look I have yet to experience on an AP. And I really dig that!

As best I can remember from trying on a RG Rubberclad, I would say the weights are about the same. The rubberclad has a solid caseback, whereas the QEII is open. Still, the tantalum case and thick caseback ring are quite heavy, so that must be close to a ...

Do you know whether it was originally Boutique only? With only 150 made I suspect you will never come across one is n the wild? I have the Ceramic Diver which I love, however the QEII is different enough to warrant having 2 divers, I think!

I believe all sold orders would be distributed through AP Boutiques. I think the all ceramic Diver is completely different than this one and you could very happily own one of each :-)
