Generally speaking, I agree with you.
In the case of this blue one, I love the color shade and think it discreetly adds a nice pop and uniqueness. The earlier orange model was unique as well with matching colored numerals.
But for a new piece, it is hard to beat the black dial w/ the stick markers.
This offshore is really cool. Now, I have a problem with all these colors.
